Cosmi's early-1980s Aztec warrior runner: Robert Bonifacio's 1982 Atari 8-bit side-scroller and a different Commodore 64 game by Paul Norman. The Atari 2600 game is the 2006 homebrew A-VCS-tec Challenge, a clone of the C64 version.
