Be a good neighbor in the collector community
MShelf is a place for physical game collectors to share collections, talk about games, and help each other. These guidelines keep the community useful and welcoming. They sit alongside our Terms of Service.
MShelf is built for physical game collectors and collector knowledge. We don’t facilitate piracy, counterfeit sales, or the distribution of unauthorized copies.
Please do not
- Spam or flood the community
- Operate automated or bot accounts
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Impersonate other people
- Distribute scams or malicious content
- Manipulate reactions, engagement, or community activity
- Attempt to bypass moderation, rate limits, or account restrictions
- Abuse reporting or moderation systems
- Attempt to compromise the security of MShelf or other users
- Use MShelf for unlawful activity
Respect authentic collecting
MShelf is intended for physical game collecting and collector knowledge.
Do not use the community to:
- Sell or distribute pirated copies
- Promote counterfeit items as authentic
- Facilitate unauthorized copies
- Scam or deceive other collectors about authenticity
It is okay to:
- Discuss reproductions and non-original items
- Identify counterfeits and share how to spot them
- Compare authentic and fake or reproduction items
- Share educational information about spotting fakes
- Document non-original items in a collection without presenting them as authentic
The line is simple: discussion and documentation for collectors are welcome; using MShelf to facilitate illegal distribution or to pass off non-original items as authentic is not.
Your content
You are responsible for the content you submit — including posts, comments, Collector Comments, replies, photos, and details about your physical items. Share things you have the right to share, keep discussion constructive, and do not intentionally misrepresent counterfeit or reproduction items as authentic.
How we keep things healthy
When needed to protect the community and the service, MShelf may remove content, restrict features, or restrict accounts — including when there is a reasonable basis to believe the service is being used for piracy, counterfeiting, fraud, or other prohibited activity. Serious or repeated problems may lead to suspension or permanent termination. We do not promise to verify every item or every submission.
