Collector note

Contest for a $10,000 winning name after April 30, 1983 never finished. Digital Press’s 1994 fan name was Going Under. Developed as Treasures of the Deep, then Guardians of Treasure.

Facts

  • Jim Wickstead programmed it August–October 1982 after Rob Dubren’s Jaws pitch to Parker Brothers fell through.
  • Refill air from a boat’s pole. Shark or tentacle contact costs a life.
