Video Life

Atari 2600

1981CommaVid CommaVid

CommaVid’s Atari 2600 take on Conway’s Game of Life. Mail-order only to MagiCard owners; Wikipedia (via CommaVid’s page) says fewer than 20 cartridges were made.

Collector note

Not a retail SKU. MagiCard itself was a mail-order 2600 programming tool (about 50–100 made). Chicago Reader in 2003 estimated Video Life carts around $3,000 then.
