Collector note

NA CE: numbered stickers out of 62,000; gold CE discs; cloth map; writing pad; bonus disc. Distinct from the standard gatefold Big Box (poster map, no CE extras). European CE is a different SKU (square box, T-shirt, paper map, postcards, poster, Icewind Dale demo; packaging often misprints “19” trading cards — typically ~16). Candlekeep’s March 2001 CE note aligns more with EU extras.

Facts

  • NA street commonly 22–24 September 2000 (MobyGames MSRP $54.99; GameFAQs/VGCollect 24 Sept).
  • Limited numbered NA run of 62,000 boxes.
  • Physical standouts: cloth map, gold CE discs, trading cards, Interplay writing pad, bonus CD.
