Original 360 disc is DVD-9 serial NM-2016 (NA barcode 722674210058 / item 4E4D07E0). Premium Edition (barcode 722674210188) shipped in a metal tin with a short comic/art book, XL T-shirt, tournament chart plus marker, and a code that unlocks extra Character Creation gear plus the final Soul Edge and Soul Calibur weapons. NA Platinum Hits reprint uses the same barcode and item number as the standard disc. PAL copies include Xbox 360 Classics (redump lists the same serial); EU launch was distributed by Ubisoft. Darth Vader later sold as paid 360 DLC.

Facts

• Weapons-based 3D fighter with a new Soul Gauge: blocking too much drains it, breaks armor, and opens a Critical Finish. First Soulcalibur with Xbox Live versus (Standard and Special VS for created characters).
• Xbox 360 disc includes Yoda on-disc; Darth Vader was the PS3 exclusive at launch. Both versions include The Apprentice from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Vader later arrived on 360 as paid DLC (23 Oct 2008).
• Tower of Lost Souls is the long single-player climb; Character Creation lets created fighters copy a series style, with equipment that changes stats and skills.
