Stephen Landrum’s Supercharger RPG: a dragon hunter gathers gold and items across countryside, village, and lair. Tresca (via Wikipedia) calls it the only true RPG on the 2600.

Requires the Starpath Supercharger. The add-on provided 6KB of RAM versus the 2600’s built-in 128 bytes.

Facts

Developed under the title Excalibur. Three areas: Enchanted Countryside, Oppressed Village, and the Dragon's Cave.
Turn-based battles via a text menu: fight, magic, weapons, or flee. Strength reaching zero ends the game.
